Description:	Ryker 6yr old Rotti/GSD mix Meet your new house hippo! Ryker is a 6 year old Rotti mix that promises not to steal your chips or peanut butter toast. Ryker was adopted from Paws United Dog Rescue approximately 4 years ago and was a loved member of the family ever since. Unfortunately, his owner has become palliative and had to make the heartbreaking decision to return him to our care. This big marshmallow loves to cuddle and be close with his family. Ryker is great with people of all sizes and ages. He is good with dogs and cats, has successfully lived with another dog, and attended doggy daycare with group play for several years. Ryker does have some leash and barrier reactivity. It is important to understand that reactivity is not the same as aggression. He has been working diligently with his foster mom and has shown great improvement in a very short amount of time! He loves to please and wants to be the best boy. With his foster mom, Ryker has happily gone to local baseball games, group dog walks, learned what pup cups are, dipped his toes in the river, and even visited a farm to meet some horses. This boy is up for it if you are, he may just need a big nap afterwards to recover (and gently tucked in with his teddy bear). But don’t let his enthusiasm fool you, he’s more than happy to curl up on the couch and watch Friend’s reruns with you all weekend. If you’re looking for your new best friend and shotgun rider, Ryker says he volunteers for the position! Ryker is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, heartworm tested, and treated with flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
