4 year old male Lab/Sharpei
Flint here, so my foster family says my bio really needs to be updated cause in just 2 weeks I've come so far. While here it goesâ¦I've discovered that I really love people once I'm familiar with them and my favourite past-time, besides eating, is cuddling/petting which I can do for hours. I love to be the center of attention and keep my humans happy. I have lots of toys here but my favorites are the soft, fuzzy squeaky ones which I carry around all over, and take several of them to be in my crate with me at night or when my fosters are at work. And I really like my crate now, sometimes I go there just because. And I haven't had any accidents there nor do I shred my bedding anymore. I love to go outdoors and run or play fetch in the backyard (and I love the snow), and I'm really pretty good walking on a leash too. Oh, and car rides, love them too. I have a hard time finding the courage to get in and out of the truck myself but hey, I've got the car down to a science now. Loud and sudden noises still wig me out sometimes but not as much and I've conquered my fear of the TV and the washing machine! My foster family says the other great things about me, besides being so cute and funny and loveable, is that I'm pretty much house trained, I don't shed hair hardly at all, and I never bark even though I hear everything. I'm almost finished all my vet appointments for my heartworm treatment and feeling pretty good now. I haven't really been around any young children but I do enjoy teens and adults. I am not sure about my social skills with other dogs but am looking forward to hopefully making some new friends at some point and will do best in a home without cats or other small critters.Â
So, I'm really hoping to find a forever home that is relatively calm and quiet so I can feel safe and keep gaining more confidence, and humans that really love to give and receive lots of affection because that's what I'm all about (oh yeah, and food, don't forget the food!).

Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain**
